Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pin-to-pin transportation of ocean containers between Hensall, Ontario, and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), with up to two trips per day.
  • Safely handle the loading, unloading, and transportation of various bulk commodities.
  • Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies, including pre-trip inspections, daily logs, hours of service, and proper completion of all necessary paperwork.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safe operation of your assigned truck.
  • Ensure food safety standards are met by inspecting containers and bulk trailers for cleanliness.
  • Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude while collaborating with team members and interacting with customers.
  • Consistently follow company safety procedures and policies to maintain a safe working environment.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with strong oral, written, and math skills.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional driving experience.
  • Experience in the transportation of ocean containers and familiarity with agricultural settings is an asset.
  • Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative, problem-solve, and effectively manage responsibilities and deadlines.
