Software International (SI) supplies technical talent to Fortune 100/500/1000 companies in Canada/US. We currently have a long term contract with our IT consulting client that is working with their large client on a move to cloud CCaS from on-prem with AWS Connect.

Role(s) Required: AWS Connect Developer


Location: Remote (Canada/US)

Required Start Date: ASAP


Required End Date: 6 months + renew


Type: Contract

Total Hours Approved Per Role: 40h/week

Rate: Open based on expectations but target rate is $75-95/hr C2C

AWS Connect Developer

  • Experience in developing Amazon Connect contact flows using Dynamo DB, Lex Bots, API Gateway required.
  • Must have experience in with designing and implementing call routing using routing profiles, queues, call backs, emergency messages, hours of operations, holiday routing with dynamic messaging
  • Must have strong programming skills in Python, Node.js, Java Lambda.
  • Experience with AWS services like Contact Lens, Transcribe, Comprehend, S3, Athena, Quick Sight, Lambda, Elastic Search, Kibana and Kinesis preferred.
  • Must have strong programming skills in Python or Node.js or Java over AWS Lambda API’s.
  • Experience with development and version control tools like Eclipse IDE, GIT, GitHub, TFS etc. is required.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Go CD, Terraform and Cloud Formation.
  • Should have good communication and analytical skills with ability to coordinate development with onshore/offshore developers as well as Line of Business customers.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills required.
  • AWS certification preferred.
  • Prior Contact Center Experience with Genesys  development is highly desired
