<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>As an automation professional, the desired applicant will share MPE’s vision to provide industry-leading services to our clients throughout Saskatchewan and Western Canada. The position primarily focuses on PLC and SCADA programming, commissioning, and networking configurations; however, a diverse background in automation and control system planning, design, control narrative generation, troubleshooting, and maintenance is also required.</p><h3>Position</h3><ul><li>Position: AUTOMATION PROFESSIONAL</li><li>ID No: 7-1509</li><li>Location: Saskatoon</li></ul><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>PLC and SCADA programming, commissioning, and networking configurations</li><li>Automation and control system planning, design, control narrative generation, troubleshooting, and maintenance</li></ul><h3>Mandatory Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Programming experience with a variety of automation software and hardware</li><li>Willingness to travel to support maintenance and commissioning tasks</li><li>Availability for PLC, SCADA Systems, and related communications emergency support</li><li>Diploma or Degree in an electrical or automation-related program from an accredited post-secondary institution</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Licensed or eligible for licensing or certification with APEGS/TPSK</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills</li><li>Background in electrical & instrumentation systems</li><li>Experience with municipal & industrial process systems</li><li>Experience with industrial networking & cybersecurity</li><li>Experience working as a member of a multidisciplinary engineering team</li></ul><p>Minimum of two years of combined experience in positions related to the above preference and mandatory qualifications.</p><h3>How to apply</h3><p>Interested individuals should submit their resume, complete with references, to:</p><p><b>Mr. Richard Ofstie, P.Eng.</b><br/><b>Electrical Engineer</b></p><p><em>We thank all applicants in advance for submitting a resume, but only potential interview candidates will be contacted.</em></p></p>
