Our newly renovated clinic features a beautiful optical gallery with luxury eyewear brands, a fully equipped dry eye spa, and an extensive pretest area including OCT, meibography, corneal topography, and axial length.</p>
<h3>Role Description</h3>
<p>This is a part-time, on-site role for an Associate Optometrist located in Newmarket, ON. The Associate Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and manage eye diseases, prescribe eyewear and contact lenses, and educate patients on eye health. The role also includes maintaining accurate patient records, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and staying current with advancements in optometry.</p>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Strong clinical skills in providing comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing eye conditions</li>
<li>Experience in treating and managing dry eye disease, and fitting specialty contact lenses including ortho-k and scleral lenses (preferred)</li>
<li>Excellent patient communication and education skills</li>
<li>Collaboration skills to work with other healthcare professionals</li>
<li>Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school</li>
<li>Valid optometry license in the province of Ontario</li>
