We pride ourselves on providing expert legal representation to our clients, with empathy, compassion and integrity.</p></br><h3>Role Description</h3></br><p>Our team is looking for a full-time associate family law lawyer, preferably with at least 4-5 years of family law experience. Our main office is in Markham, ON, though our lawyers often work remotely, from home. We regularly represent clients all throughout the GTA (York Region, Toronto, Durham, Simcoe) and beyond, including Burlington, Hamilton and Oakville areas.</p></br><h3>Responsibilities</h3></br><ul></br><li>As an associate, you will be responsible for drafting court documents for various family law matters</li></br><li>Representing clients in court (as well as at settlement meetings, mediations and / or arbitrations as applicable)</li></br><li>Engaging in legal research</li></br><li>Providing general legal counsel</li></br></ul></br><h3>Qualifications</h3></br><ul></br><li>At least 3-5 years of experience as a family law lawyer</li></br><li>Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage complex emotional matters with empathy and care</li></br><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li></br><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li></br><li>Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from an accredited law school</li></br><li>Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario</li></br></ul></br><h3>Senioriry level</h3></br><ul></br><li>Mid-Senior level</li></br></ul></br><h3>Employment type</h3></br><ul></br><li>Full-time</li></br></ul></br><h3>Job function</h3></br><ul></br><li>Legal</li></br></ul></br><h3>Industries</h3></br><ul></br><li>Legal Services</li></br></ul></br><p>J-18808-Ljbffr</p></p>
