Responsibilities
- Handle a variety of commercial litigation matters, including securities, competition, and general civil litigation
- Work closely with partners in a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment
- Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
- Appear in court for procedural matters and hearings, as appropriate
- Support litigation strategy and trial preparation
- Take on responsibility early, with close guidance and mentorship from partners
Job Details
- Full-time position based in Toronto
- In-office presence expected most days, with flexibility for occasional work from home

Requirements
- Approximately 1 to 6+ years of call (flexible depending on fit and trajectory)
- Solid foundation in commercial and/or general litigation
- Strong drafting skills and ability to quickly get up to speed on unfamiliar matters
- Proactive, self-starting mindset and comfort managing a varied workload
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach
- Demonstrated interest in building a long-term litigation practice, with partner-track potential
