Reporting to the Managers in the location, and working in conjunction with the Culinary Team and other Assistant Managers, our Assistant Managers are responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the unit, working with and providing leadership to the team on the ground, and ensuring a high level of customer service.</p><p> </p></p></p><p ><p ><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>What We Offer</H2></p><p><ul><li>Health benefits (full-time employees)</li><li>Training and development opportunities</li><li>Employee recognition programs including service awards</li><li>Meal program</li><li>Strong focus on a safe and healthy work environment</li><li>Diverse and inclusive workforce</li></ul><p> </p></p></p><p ><p ><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>About the Job</H2></p><p><ul><li>Responsible for overseeing the daily operations with assistance from the Manager on duty and in conjunction with the culinary team</li><li>Ensure compliance of all Aramark operating standards and legislated standards including company policy and procedure, Health and Safety standards, and Safe Food Handling</li><li>Responsible for assigning daily tasks to the team</li><li>Responsible for some scheduling duties with the guidance of the manager on duty</li><li>Provides support to Manager with HR functions such as performance evaluations and progressive discipline</li><li>Recruits and trains staff in compliance with Aramark requirements</li><li>Develops and motivates staff to attain proper standards of performance</li><li>Ensure quality, courteous service is provided to all customers, and resolves customer complaints</li><li>Works with the Manager and Marketing Manager to launch marketing initiatives and promotions</li><li>Participates in inventory controls</li><li>Collects, records, and deposits all revenues received at the component</li><li>Maintains compliance of all cash handling and cash auditing procedures, reports and overage/shortages</li><li>Ensures adherence to Aramark?s policies and procedures</li><li>Ensures adherence to Aramark's Health and Safety Programs</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul></p></p><p ><p ><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>About You</H2></p><p><ul><li>Diploma in Hospitality Management/ Food and Beverage Management or equivalent work experience</li><li>Supervisory experience required</li><li>Experience in a unionized setting an asset</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint</li><li>Effective communication skills</li><li>Strong organization skills</li><li>Some physical work required; must be able to lift up to 30lbs</li><li>Flexible Schedule Required ? may involve some evenings and weekends</li></ul><p> </p><p>The selected candidate for this position will need to complete and successfully pass a Criminal Background Check.</p><p> </p></p></p><p ><p ><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>About Aramark</H2></p><p><p>At Aramark, we empower our people to create moments that matter through exceptional hospitality experiences.
