Job Summary:

ERCO’s Corporate office is looking for a motivated, self-reliant, Co-Op Student to join its Information Technology Team! Reporting to the Application Development Team Lead of Information Technology, the Co-Op Web Developer will be responsible for the implementation of innovative internal business software solutions leveraging Microsoft Power Platforms, SharePoint Online, SQL Server, Azure Portal, and C# .NET technologies. This is a 4 month contract, starting Winter 2025.



Job Duties:

  1. Stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering.
  2. Database design and implementation in SQL and/or SharePoint Online.
  3. Back-end application development; Power Automate workflows, Logic Apps, and Function Apps.
  4. Front-end application development; Power Apps canvas-app forms, SharePoint Online custom lists, and C# .NET development.
  5. SharePoint Online support, including site development, page management, web parts configuration, and Document Library/List record maintenance.
  6. Writing and maintaining both End User and Technical documentation.
  7. Solo and collaborative development in a team of 3-4 people.
  8. Maintenance and support of existing ERCO applications, providing end user assistance with bugs and errors.


Qualifications:

  1. Must be enrolled in a University or College Co-Op program in Computer Science or a related field.
  2. Experience in App Development with Power Platforms technologies, Azure Portal, SharePoint Online, SQL Server, Object Oriented Programming, C# and .NET.
  3. Proficiency in software development lifecycles and methodologies.

Hourly Rate: $22.00
