Job Description
Position: Amazon Connect Developer
Location: Hybrid. Two days a week onsite in Toronto, Canada. Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
Architecture & Design (30%)
- Architect and design Amazon Connect solutions, including contact flows, IVR systems, and routing profiles.
- Integrate Amazon Connect with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and other relevant components.
Development & Implementation (35%)
- Develop and implement AWS-based solutions using Java and
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform for automated deployments.
- Implement AWS security best practices across all environments and solutions.
Performance Optimization & Monitoring (15%)
- Monitor and optimize the performance of Amazon Connect and associated AWS services using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of Amazon Connect solutions.
Documentation & Technical Support (10%)
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date technical documentation for all developed solutions.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for existing Amazon Connect implementations.
Collaboration & Communication (10%)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including IT, Security, and Operations—to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide status updates, and deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Skils & Experience
- Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Architect or Cloud Engineer with design and implementation expertise.
- Strong proficiency in Amazon Connect and key AWS services, including but not limited to: AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon S3, Amazon Lex, Amazon Polly, AWS IAM, Amazon Kinesis, AWS CloudWatch, Amazon CloudFront, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Pinpoint, AWS Step Functions, AWS Secrets Manager, Amazon Cognito, Amazon Comprehend, Amazon Transcribe, Amazon OpenSearch Service (formerly Elasticsearch), and AWS Direct Connect.
- Solid understanding of security, scalability, and best practices in AWS environments.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $80.00-$120.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in North York, ON
