<b>Administrative Assistant – Life Insurance Operations <br></b><br>
Remote administrative opportunity in the insurance industry. This contract role offers flexible weekday hours, full-time remote work from Nova Scotia, and exposure to life insurance operations. Ideal for candidates with administrative experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent English communication skills; French is considered an asset.<br>

<b>Responsibilities: <br></b>
<br>
<br>• Administer new life insurance applications and maintain related documentation.<br>
<br>• Input and track client requests for new insurance coverage requiring medical underwriting.<br>
<br>• Follow up with clients for additional documentation as requested by medical underwriters.<br>
<br>• Provide clerical support across the team and assist with general administrative duties.<br>
<br>• Manage pending applications and ensure completion of required steps.<br>
<br>• Sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including emails and faxes.<br>
<br>• Draft responses to routine inquiries and support ad-hoc projects as needed.<br>
<br>
<b>What you will need to succeed:<br></b>
<br>
<br>• High school diploma or GED required.<br>
<br>• 2–4 years of previous experience in administrative or customer service roles.<br>
<br>• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Word and Excel.<br>
<br>• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and keep information well-organized.<br>
<br>• Ability to manage tasks independently and prioritize effectively.<br>
<br>• High attention to detail and demonstrated accountability.<br>
<br>• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.<br>
<br>• Comfortable learning and navigating new systems quickly.<br>
<br>• Bilingual in English and French to communicate with clients, process insurance applications, and provide support in both official languages depending on client preference (preferred).<br>
