About the opportunity
As a Lending Advisor, you will work closely with and be guided by the Director of Sales. You will help generate new business by promoting our financing solutions to small and mid-sized businesses across Canada.
Responsibilities
The Lending Advisor will:
- Develop relationships with business owners to ensure they have a great experience
- Act as a true partner for each client by understanding their business goals, key initiatives to achieve those goals, and how Journey Capital credit products will help drive these desired results
- Help prepare the client's application and negotiate the funding terms with the business owner
- Prospect and convert leads into customers
- Consistently meet and exceed individual and team weekly, monthly, and annual targets
What youre bringing to the table
Alongside unwavering ethical principles, you showcase:
- Highly motivated and results-oriented individual.
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in Fintech.
- Competitive and have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent diplomacy, negotiation, organizational and information management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, in French and English.
- Strong organizational skills, self-discipline and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- A good understanding of credit.
- The ability to prioritize and manage various tasks.
